Trashing Andi

Hello there, This is one of the many bands from the Boise area that I have never seen but have heard a lot about. I did this interview a while back, I poligize for being lazy and not getting up more quickly.

Choking Hazard: Lets start of by giving the readers a little history on Trashing Andi?

Trashing Andi: Hey we started about 6 months ago "about when school started" Joey "the Guitarist" and I "Ryan Pearse the drummer" used to be in a band but kind of broke up. then at the beginning of 9th grade we just started jamming and then started to write songs and here we are today.

Choking Hazard: Who would you say influences Trashing Andi on a musical level?

Trashing Andi: Our influences are of course AFI they are our main influence also we listen

to anti flag, pennywise, funeral oration, Atari's 'I know they are emo", NoFx they are a huge influence, lagwagon, millencolin, propagandhi, fifteen, bad religion, VGS "voo doo glow skulls", and some mad caddies and pretty much anything else that is punk as long as it isn't rap or country we listen to it.

Choking Hazard: How do you feel people are responding to the music of Trashing Andi?

Trashing Andi: That people are responding to us is "wow they are fuckin good for freshman!"

and also they are jealous just joking people are likeing our stuff so far and we have been trying to get our name out but we cant play hardly anywhere because we aren't 15 yet! is really blows!

Choking Hazard: Where would you like to see the music of Trashing Andi go?

Trashing Andi: Well as far as musically speaking we want to be the best ever! or good enough to

get signed on, also we feel and have been told about how much musical talent that we have Ryan "that's me" can play guitar, bass and drums really well and Ben and Joey are amazing at bass and guitar along with writing lyrics.

Choking Hazard: Where would you say is your favorite place to play?

Trashing Andi: Well to tell u the truth we haven't really played a whole lot so our favorite place would have to be bens house because that's where we practice and we get the most done there. other than that we don't really play a whole lot but we are going to start playing at peoples parties we have got a lot of offers and we

also are trying to get bogies for a night for a couple eagle bands to play with us for our friends 16 b-day so if u hear about that really happening come and help us get our name out!

Choking Hazard: Is there anything that you would like to leave with the readers of this zine?

Trashing Andi: I think that the readers of the zine should know that we are going to hopefully record a lp soon so look out for it and just remember that we are coming just wait till were 16 you fuckers
